The loan was initially announced at a $300 million level, but was later expanded to $500 million under a “scaling” clause.
With great interest from international investors, the total value of registered loans has exceeded the initial capital mobilization plan by more than 200%. This positive result clearly demonstrates the trust of international financial institutions in MB as well as the bank's commitment to sustainable development.

MB’s syndicated loan attracted 22 leading financial institutions from Asia, Europe and the Middle East, most of which were first-time lenders to MB. The diversity of participating financial institutions not only reflects the market’s confidence in MB but also contributes to the expansion of the bank’s international network. As the size of the subscription far exceeded the target size, MB has reallocated the commitment limits of the lenders.
The funds raised from this loan will be used by MB for eligible projects under MB's green loan principles and green loan framework, thereby strongly promoting the bank's sustainable development program and supporting Vietnam's transition to a low-emission economy .

Ltd., Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited and Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited as the loan arrangers and coordinators. ANZ (Singapore branch) is the loan coordinator; Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is the loan administration agent.
