Mbappe discharged from hospital

Kylian Mbappe has been discharged from hospital after being treated in a Miami hospital for acute gastroenteritis.

Mbappe appeared, but cannot return to play soon.

Real Madrid announced: "Player Kylian Mbappe was discharged from hospital this afternoon and returned to the team. Mbappe will continue with special medical treatment and will gradually rejoin the team's activities."

The Real Madrid forward was unable to feature in Los Blancos' 1-1 draw with Al Hilal in Group H of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™ on June 19. The Spanish club confirmed that he was hospitalized due to a severe bout of gastroenteritis.

Previously, Mbappe had to stay in his hotel room to comply with the isolation procedure implemented by the club to avoid infecting others. The French striker also had to change his diet because he could not eat normal food.
