Mercedes-Benz GLS 2025 over 5.5 billion VND is about to launch in Vietnam?

The exhibition event called "Mercedes-Benz Masterpiece Space" is expected to become a notable highlight of the luxury automobile industry in 2025 in Vietnam, with the participation of more than 10 top car models from the three-pointed star brand.

One of the highlights of this exhibition is the launch of the mid-life upgraded version of the Mercedes-Benz GLS - the company's flagship large SUV, which has just been slightly adjusted in design and equipment to increase competitiveness in the luxury SUV segment.

Accordingly, the mid-life upgraded Mercedes-Benz GLS in the Vietnamese market will be distributed in two versions including the GLS 450 4MATIC and the super luxury Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC. The official selling price has not been announced yet. However, last month, some dealers began accepting deposits with an estimated price of about 5.5 billion VND for the standard GLS 450 version.

Meanwhile, the GLS 600 Maybach - the most advanced version has appeared at the Emission Testing Center in Hanoi, revealing the possibility of launching to the market in the near future. In this upgrade, the GLS 450 2025 has been adjusted to a sportier and more modern design.

The new radiator grille with 4 large horizontal bars creates a sense of grandeur, combined with a redesigned front bumper and enlarged air vents to enhance aerodynamics. The car is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design and the LED lighting system is also slightly refined in the graphic interface.

The interior of the 2025 GLS 450 still maintains the familiar layout but is refreshed with a new generation steering wheel and especially an upgraded version of the MBUX infotainment system, providing a more intuitive and modern user experience.

Under the hood, the 2025 GLS 450 is equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged I6 engine, but it has been tuned to reach 375 horsepower, a slight increase compared to its predecessor. According to the dealer, the accompanying 9-speed automatic transmission has also been upgraded to improve smoothness when shifting, promising a smoother and more powerful driving experience.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Maybach GLS 600 version is more refined, emphasizing class and comfort for rear passengers.

This upgrade includes new seat covers with sharper diamond patterns, a new steering wheel and a premium version of the MBUX system exclusively for Maybach cars. Some minor changes to the exterior such as the front of the car have also been noted on the model appearing in Hanoi .

In terms of engine, the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 558 horsepower, 730 Nm and supported by a 48V Mild-hybrid system that can temporarily increase 22 horsepower/250 Nm to support acceleration. Thanks to that, the GLS 600 can reach 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

The event "Mercedes-Benz Masterpiece Space" promises to be not only a simple product launch, but also an opportunity for the German brand to showcase its class in design, technology and user experience - the factors that have made Mercedes-Benz a global success.
