Mercedes Vietnam launches plug-in hybrid car GLE 400 E 4MATIC for more than 4.6 billion VND

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has just officially introduced the new Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC, the brand's first PHEV SUV model in Vietnam.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC 2025 is the first PHEV SUV model of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV). In terms of appearance, the car has a new radiator grille with a three-pointed star pattern, MULTIBEAM LED lights and 20-inch AMG wheels with a 5-spoke design, covered in Tremolite gray.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC SUV is equipped with a 2.0L M254 engine combined with a high-voltage battery system, producing a total capacity of 381 horsepower and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. The car is capable of traveling entirely on electricity within a range of 95 to 114 km (according to WLTP standards).

The 11 kW AC charging system fully recharges the battery in approximately 2.75 hours, making it suitable for the active lifestyle of urban customers. In addition to Hybrid and Sport modes, the vehicle also offers EV Mode for silent and emission-free journeys.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC features a new radiator grille with a three-pointed star motif, MULTIBEAM LED headlights and 20-inch AMG wheels with a 5-spoke design, finished in Tremolite gray.

Inside, the cabin is finished with premium Lugano leather, open-pore walnut wood trim and comfort details such as 64-color ambient lighting, ventilated seats, 4-zone THERMOTRONIC climate control. The AIR BALANCE package and ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL air filtration system help to create a fresh and relaxing cabin space.

The interior is upholstered in Lugano leather, with open-pore walnut wood paneling, and features a 64-color ambient lighting system that covers the cabin space. The front cup holders have a heating function, and the THERMOTRONIC 4-zone climate control allows each passenger to adjust the temperature.

Notably, the GLE 400 e also integrates the ENERGIZING Comfort package - combining light, music , air conditioning and massage - turning the cockpit into a "mobile spa". The new generation MBUX entertainment system with a 12.3-inch dual screen cluster, supporting "Hey Mercedes" voice control and a central touchpad helps the driver interact conveniently. Augmented reality navigation technology (AR Navigation) improves accuracy when moving in urban areas.

The in-car audio experience is taken to a new level with the 13-speaker Burmester® system integrated with Dolby Atmos® technology, providing a realistic three-dimensional surround sound effect. In addition, the car also supports wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity, providing a seamless digital experience.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC is equipped with a series of driver assistance technologies such as a 360° camera system with Transparent Bonnet feature, MULTIBEAM LED adaptive headlights, blind spot warning, emergency brake assist, and an advanced off-road support package.

The 4MATIC drive system ensures stable movement on many terrains, from urban to highway. Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC is currently officially distributed in the Vietnamese market with limited quantity and a recommended selling price of 4.669 billion VND.

The appearance of this plug-in hybrid SUV model not only opens up new options for customers who love the "Three-pointed Star" brand, but also marks an important milestone in Mercedes-Benz's green transformation journey in Vietnam.
