Northern scattered showers

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from today (September 16), heavy rain in the North and North Central regions will gradually decrease, with only scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. As the rain decreases, the temperature in the region will gradually increase, with the highest being 31-32 degrees.

Meanwhile, this afternoon and evening, the weather forecast in the Central Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions is for continued showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, in some places over 70mm.

During thunderstorms , there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. At the same time, the impact of heavy rains should be taken to guard against the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas; beware of heavy rains in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas.

In addition, the South Central region will maintain sunny days, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, and showers and thunderstorms in some places at night.
