A 9th grade student in a mountainous district of Quang Tri was stabbed to death by a friend.

On the evening of April 7, a leader of the People's Committee of Ba Long commune (Dakrong district, Quang Tri province) confirmed that a murder case had just occurred in the locality, killing a student.

Specifically, on the same afternoon, four students, Tran Van L. (student of Dakrong High School), Nguyen Van P. (Dakrong High School), Le Van T. (Dakrong High School) and Nguyen Van Q. (Krong KLang Middle School) rode two motorbikes to Ba Long Primary and Middle School (Ba Long commune, Dakrong district).

After stopping his car in front of the school gate, Nguyen Van Q. walked into the school. When he met Le Huu Q. (a 9th grade student at Ba Long Primary and Secondary School), Nguyen Van Q. threw his helmet at Le Huu Q.

Then, Le Huu Q. used a knife to stab Nguyen Van Q. in the left chest, causing his death. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
