With this information, on many groups, many candidates expressed disappointment, because they were in the situation of "passing yesterday, failing the university entrance exam today".

Many candidates and parents even commented on the fanpage that, with important content such as benchmark scores, schools need to announce clearly and consistently from the beginning to avoid misunderstandings.

Candidate TL ( Phu Tho ) said she was shocked when she learned tonight that the school had just made a separate announcement about the admission score. Almost a day before, TL thought she had passed the school. The female student shared that she was very sad when she suddenly went from passing to failing.

"I got a total of 27.7 points according to the C00 group. This morning I thought I had passed the Literature Pedagogy major because the initial announced standard score was 27.35; now when I looked it up on the system, it said I failed," TL said sadly.

According to a new announcement from Hanoi Capital University, with the C00 combination, if candidates want to be admitted to the Literature Pedagogy major, they must have a total score at least equal to the standard score of 28.1.

VietNamNet contacted the Hanoi Capital University and reported this matter, but the school has not yet given an explanation.

Through VietNamNet 's research, in the announcement on the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) and equivalent conversion of admission scores between regular university admission methods in 2025 of Hanoi Capital University in mid-July, it was stated: "Hanoi Capital University determines the difference in scores between admission combinations for the method of using high school exam scores as follows: For admission majors with combination C00, the remaining combinations (not combination C00) are added 0.75 points on a 30-point scale".

However, despite this announcement, the contents of the initial standard score announcement document of Hanoi Capital University are illogical and confusing, easily causing confusion for candidates and parents.
