Mr World 2024 will be hosted by Vietnam for the first time, taking place from November 5 at 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau City and Phan Thiet City. This is one of the 3 major playgrounds for men, copyrighted by the Miss World Organization. The contest was first held in 1996, taking place annually. This year, the program returns after a 4-year hiatus, partly due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
61 contestants from all over the world participated in many activities and sub-contests such as: Mr Sport (sports), Mr Talent (talent), National Costume (national costume), Top Model (Vietnamese ao dai and vest fashion show), Head to head challenge (presentation of social knowledge), private interview... The current Mr World - Jack Heslewood (British) - will present the title to his successor at the final night on November 23 in Binh Thuan.

The Mr World 2024 contest not only highlights the physical values and talents of multicultural kings, but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnam as a developing country with a civilized lifestyle, high-quality professional performance organization and rich tourism potential... Sideline activities at the contest such as: visiting famous places, experiencing cuisine , community exchange, environmental protection in Phan Thiet, emphasizing the role of sustainable development and social responsibility... have helped promote the image of a hospitable and modern Vietnam.
In particular, in the national costume competition, contestants from 61 countries shouted "I love Vietnam", making a deep impression on the international audience.
The Mr World 2024 contestants also gave many compliments to the professional organization of the Vietnamese team. “We cannot do better than what Vietnam is doing. The people are friendly, the cuisine is great. All the experiences are valuable,” said the Puerto Rican contestant. A representative of the Golden Lotus Organizing Committee shared: "Hosting the contest in Vietnam not only brings an opportunity to introduce culture but also affirms the host country's capacity in international events, contributing to bringing Vietnam further on the international cultural and tourism map."
Currently, with the final stage before the final night, the outstanding candidates have been revealed and are capable of winning the highest position, including: Italy, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Puerto Rico, Australia, Venezuela, Spain, England, America, Mexico, Brazil, China, Thailand, Argentina, Türkiye, Northern Ireland...
The contest will select the Top 4 winners from 5 continents (with Asia and Oceania in the same group), then announce the winner. "I think Africa is Angola, Asia-Pacific is Vietnam, America is the US, Europe is probably Spain", the contestant representing China predicted. Among them, the contestant from Italy shared: "I think Angola, Vietnam, the US and Europe is me. I don't know how it will be, let's wait and see who will be crowned tonight".

Vietnam's representative in the contest is Mr World Vietnam 2024 Pham Tuan Ngoc, who is predicted to achieve a high ranking in the final night and could be crowned Mr World. He is 25 years old this year, from Hai Phong, 1.83 m tall, graduated from English Language, Faculty of Economics of the National Economics University. Tuan Ngoc has twice won the title of Mr World at the school level and was honored as an outstanding student. In 2023, he attracted attention at The Face Vietnam, winning the award for most favorite by the audience. The host country's contestant received special attention from domestic and international audiences for his handsome appearance, confidence and impressive performances in the competitions.
Tuan Ngoc shared that he "always tries his best for the Vietnamese flag"; especially in the National Costume competition night, he "struggled" to perform a 25 kg carved stone dragon costume, inspired by the works of the Ninh Van stone carving village in Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. During the Mr. World 2024 competition, Tuan Ngoc had the following achievements: Top 5 talent, Top 5 sports, Top 12 fashion, Top 20 national costume, Top 20 knowledge presentation, Top 5 charity project...

The final night of Mr World 2024 will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 23 at Bikini Square NowaWard Phan Thiet (livestream on multiple platforms) with the program hosted by Mr World Sandro Finoglio and Miss Luong Thuy Linh.
The jury of Mr World 2024 includes: reigning Miss World - Krystyna, international supermodel Jordan Goncalves, reigning Mr World Jack Helsewood Reigning, President of Miss World Organisation - Ms. Julia Morley, Mr World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, supermodel Jordan Goncalves, Donna Walsh - Creative Director of Miss World Organisation, Miss Ha Kieu Anh.
