Mu Cang Chai: Conference on organizing the Inter-commune Sports Congress and Mong Panpipe Festival in 2026

On the morning of November 19, 7 communes of Mu Cang Chai, Pung Luong, Khao Mang, Lao Chai, Nam Co, Tu Le and Che Tao held a conference to deploy a series of cultural and sports events: Inter-commune Sports Congress, Mong Panpipe Festival, To Day Flower Festival and activities to welcome Spring 2026.

According to the plan, the Mu Cang Chai Inter-Commune Sports Festival is expected to be held at the end of November 2025, with the following events: athletics (400 m, 800 m), football, pickleball, stick pushing, tug of war, crossbow shooting and top spinning.

At the conference, delegates discussed the organization method, location, number of athletes and budget for implementing the activities. This is an opportunity for communes to promote their products, images, people and the beauty of To Day flowers to domestic and foreign tourists.

Comrade Tran Ngoc Hiep - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Mu Cang Chai commune spoke at the conference.

The Khen Mong Festival, To Day Flower Festival and Spring Welcome Activities 2026 are expected to open at 7:30 p.m. on December 27, 2025 with the theme "The sound of the Khen calling Spring". The program includes: Street parade; Khen Mong Festival; Banh Giay pounding festival; spinning top performance; product display, photo exhibition "The beauty of To Day flowers" and experiential activities. The To Day flower discovery program takes place from December 2025 to the end of January 2026.
