The extracurricular program "Colors of Vietnamese Culture" is organized to educate students about national pride, awareness of preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity through traditional costumes, and at the same time train students in English communication skills, the ability to cooperate, and express their own talents. The extracurricular program creates a healthy cultural and artistic playground, arousing creativity, solidarity and aesthetic sense among students of the whole school.

As part of the extracurricular activities, there is a competition to make handicrafts in English. This is a playground to stimulate students' ingenuity and aesthetic sense. Students compete to make greeting cards on the occasion of November 20, bookmarks and mini "Memory Books". This competition not only requires meticulousness and creativity in using recycled or traditional materials, but is also an opportunity for students to send meaningful messages and deep gratitude to teachers and the school. These handicrafts are then displayed, creating a colorful and emotional mini exhibition area.

The English performance competition clearly demonstrated the integration ability and confidence of the young generation. The performances included singing, short plays and modern dance performed entirely in English. This was an opportunity for students to apply language in practice in a natural and lively way, while also demonstrating their artistic talent. The investment in content, costumes and performance style has turned the stage into a space for international cultural exchange right at school.

The highlight of the program is also the most anticipated part, which is the Vietnamese Ethnic Costume Show. This is the most attractive and engaging competition, demonstrating the unity in diversity of Vietnamese culture. The children have chosen and performed the costumes of ethnic groups such as Mong, Tay, Dao, Thai, Muong.....

From the colorful patterns on the brocade dresses of the Mong ethnic group to the quiet indigo color, typical of the Tay people, the charm of the girls in the Ao Com and Khan Pieu of the Thai ethnic group, each costume is a miniature "history book", containing the philosophy of life, culture, beliefs and traditional weaving techniques of each ethnic group. The fact that students wear traditional costumes of ethnic groups has shown the spirit of great solidarity, respect and love for the common culture of the country.
Ban Thi Chinh, a Dao ethnic student in class 12A4, excitedly shared: I am very happy and proud to wear the traditional costume of the Dao people in today's extracurricular activity, reminding me to always remember my roots and the responsibility to preserve the national cultural identity.
With "Colors of Vietnamese Culture", students not only performed ethnic costumes but also had to research and analyze to present: historical origins, meanings, symbols of colors, patterns and messages that the costumes wanted to convey. This introduction proved that the young generation is not only proud but also very knowledgeable about national culture. Confidence and fluency in the introduction not only demonstrate presentation ability but also pride when talking about the traditional values of their nation.

"Colors of Vietnamese Culture" sent a strong message: national cultural identity is not a value that lies dormant in a museum, but a vibrant stream that is being proudly fueled and spread creatively and attractively by the young generation right in the school environment.
Teacher Ha Thi Ly, Head of the Literature - Physical Education - National Defense and Security Education Group, Hoang Van Thu High School, said: The purpose of organizing the extracurricular activity is to create a healthy cultural and artistic playground, where students can show their talents, creativity and team spirit. The activity has created opportunities for students to practice presentation skills, information research skills and especially confidence when standing in front of a crowd.
The program ended with profound echoes, affirming that the generation of students of Hoang Van Thu High School not only inherit knowledge but also become enthusiastic cultural ambassadors. The activity is also a sincere and proud gratitude from the students of Hoang Van Thu High School to their teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
