Accordingly, at 10:30 a.m. on November 20, the water flow to Dai Ninh Lake was 2,105 m 3 /s. The company increased the discharge flow through Dai Ninh Lake's spillway from 2,070 m 3 /s to 2,100 m 3 /s.
Dai Ninh Hydropower Company requests relevant agencies, units and localities to coordinate and direct the organization of evacuation of people and property from areas at risk of flooding to ensure safety, life and property.
Also on the morning of November 20, Trung Nam Hydropower Joint Stock Company said that at 10:00 a.m. the same day, the water level of Dong Nai 2 reservoir reached 679.88 m, the machine flow was 110 m 3 / s, the discharge flow was 1,300 m 3 / s, the flow to the reservoir was 1,548 m 3 / s and tended to increase due to heavy rain in the upstream area and the upper hydropower plant releasing flood water.

Due to the high water level, the company increased the regulated discharge flow through the spillway of Dong Nai 2 reservoir at 10:30 this morning from 1,500m 3 /s to gradually increase to the range of 1,500 - 2,000m 3 /s, the machine running flow is 110m 3 /s, total discharge flow downstream from 1,610 - 2,100m 3 /s (depending on discharge flow of Dai Ninh lake and flow into Dong Nai 2 lake).

Trung Nam Hydropower Joint Stock Company has notified the Civil Defense Command Committees at all levels, local authorities and relevant agencies to coordinate and direct, and at the same time inform people in the downstream areas of the reservoir to proactively prevent and limit damage; including Dinh Trang Thuong and Phuc Tho Lam Ha communes.

However, recently, at some hydroelectric reservoirs, the discharge flow through the spillway has increased, such as Don Duong reservoir at 11:30 p.m. on November 19, the discharge flow downstream was 1,400 m 3 /s.
On November 20, at 8:00 a.m., Dong Nai 2 reservoir increased the regulated discharge flow through the spillway from 1,000 m 3 /s to 1,150 m 3 /s; Dong Nai 3 reservoir increased the discharge flow from 750 m 3 /s to 950 m 3 /s at 8:30 a.m.; Dong Nai 4 reservoir increased the regulated discharge flow through the spillway from 725 m 3 /s to 925 m 3 /s at 8:30 a.m.
