According to The Athletic , the "Red Devils" have listed Malacia on the list of players to be sold, but up to now, there has been no specific offer for the Dutch player.
Malacia was once considered a potential signing when he joined Manchester United from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022 for around £15 million. In his first season at Old Trafford, he played quite impressively, making 39 appearances in all competitions and often alternating with Luke Shaw at left-back.
However, a serious knee injury has slowed Malacia's career. He had to undergo surgery and missed the entire 2023/24 season.

Malacia is a bad contract for MU. |
After nearly a year of treatment and rehabilitation, Malacia finally returned to the pitch in November 2024 and played sporadically under coach Ruben Amorim. However, he was quickly loaned out to PSV Eindhoven in the winter transfer window.
Here, Malacia contributed to the Dutch team's 2024/25 Eredivisie championship but was not a key player, and was then returned to Old Trafford.
Despite his career-high trophies, Malacia is still not in Manchester United's long-term plans. The "Red Devils" are ready to sell the 1999-born defender this summer to clean up the squad, but concerns about recurring injuries and unstable performance have made many teams wary.
Malacia's current contract with MU expires in June 2026, meaning if they cannot sell, they will have to continue to pay the salary and wait for another opportunity.
Tyrell Malacia's future is therefore in limbo. The player who was once expected to become a mainstay in the "Red Devils" defense is now fighting to save a career that has been interrupted by nightmares called injuries.
With time left in the summer transfer window, both Malacia and MU will need a miracle if they want to find a suitable direction for both sides.
