Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that the Tet Viet Xuan Giap Thin Festival with the theme "Vietnamese Tet, traditional national Tet - Honoring traditions, creating the future" has 5 main groups of activities "watching Tet - playing Tet - traveling Tet - eating Tet - Tet market".

Many people here also order cakes to prepare for Tet at a price 10,000 VND/cake cheaper than the usual way.
