Storms cause traffic damage of nearly 500 million VND

(kontumtv.vn) – As of 5:00 p.m. on June 12, storms and rains caused nearly 500 million VND in traffic damage in the province.

Of which, provincial roads suffered over 340 million VND in damage; national highways suffered nearly 140 million VND. National Highway 40B was the route most damaged by the storm with 8 landslides, 2 fallen trees and one landslide. Dac Binh Company - the route management unit said that the landslides and fallen trees have been basically handled and traffic is smooth. Provincial roads 673, 677, Dak Koi - Dak Pxi, Tu Mo Rong - Ngok Yeu have some landslides, many landslides have spilled onto the road, affecting traffic.

Currently, the locations of fallen trees, landslides and sand spilling onto the road surface have been and are being handled by functional units with on-site rescue forces.
