Hanoi has entered nostalgia through street corners and rows of trees. The streets have become the pride of Hanoi because of the four seasons of trees and leaves dyed with fragrance and color.

It seems that there is no charming Hanoi without autumn. Listening to the gentle sound of autumn in the sky and earth with the seductive fragrance of many flowers. Milk flower is so familiar with autumn in Hanoi. Yet when autumn comes, my heart always longs to wander on the empty streets every night, breathing in that passionate fragrance.

Not only milk flowers, Hanoi also has streets where the shade of magnolia trees spreads a peaceful green color and fragrant scent. The scent of magnolia is perhaps most deeply felt in the autumn sky of Hanoi. The magnolia begins to spread its scent when the cool breeze calls autumn to the streets. Walking under the ancient magnolia trees along
Dien Bien Phu Street or the beginning of Tran Phu Street, the worries of everyday life give way to wistfulness and deep longing.

Then autumn also passes with the falling yellow leaves. There are early winter days when trees shed their rustling yellow leaves on every deserted street. The gloomy days of winter bring Hanoi into a deep and ancient space. Hanoi in winter is like a quiet moment to contemplate and remember the past. That distant time appears on the mossy roofs nestled under the bare trees. The cold winds blow in, making the bare branches shiver in the cold even more pitiful. But the strong vitality of the trees and leaves is still silently waiting for spring to come.

Spring comes gently, bringing with it a light rain that is not enough to wet the new clothes of passersby. The warm days of early spring urge the trees to sprout and bloom, bursting with spring colors. Spring makes the streetscape of Hanoi more charming than ever. In February, the scent of Tet comes from the rows of brilliant peach trees, swaying in the spring breeze. One morning in March, one cannot help but be surprised when the white clusters of sua flowers bloom. The pure petals are like a soft carpet, gently supporting the footsteps of people walking on the street.

Hanoi does not have many su trees, but just one su tree blooming at the beginning of the street is enough to make the soul flutter. In March, Hanoi also has dreamy purple bauhinia flowers. It is strange that the flowers of the Northwest mountains and forests bloom in the heart of Hanoi. Bac Son street with two rows of purple bauhinia flowers brings a poetic sky to many young people and couples in love.

When April comes, Hanoi suddenly has a few days of melancholy when the streets are covered with yellow leaves. It is the season when the tamarind trees change their leaves. Yellow leaves rustle on Ly Nam De, Dien Bien Phu, Tran Phu streets... but the most numerous and beautiful are on Phan Dinh Phung street. The season of falling leaves passes very quickly, and before we can even get over the surprise, the wind has already blown the yellow leaves away.

The rays of the early summer sunshine of May have transformed many streets of Hanoi. Purple Lagerstroemia, bright red Royal Poinciana, two colors that go together to call summer back to Hanoi. Flowers are blooming bustlingly all over the streets, shimmering flowers hanging down to make the lake surface ripple, dreamy flowers follow the memories of the time in white shirts. Lagerstroemia, Royal Poinciana, yellow butterfly pea, white mulberry or tiny dracontomelon flowers have brought wonderful emotions to every street filled with brilliant summer sunshine.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter with the successive seasons of flowers and leaves like changing clothes for Hanoi. The seasons passing through the streets are filled with many memories of beloved Hanoi!
