The “Red Flamboyant” volunteer campaign in 2025, launched by the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Education and Training since early June, has quickly spread throughout the province, attracting positive responses from secondary and high schools. More than 25,000 students and young teachers across the province have actively participated in the campaign.
This summer, the atmosphere of the "Red Flamboyant" campaign at Nguyen Du High School (Tien Dien Commune) took place enthusiastically, attracting more than 1,200 students, with a total of more than 2,000 participants in the activities. Under the guidance of the School Youth Union Executive Committee, the students had a summer full of experiences through many meaningful activities such as: "Supporting exam season", cleaning martyrs' cemeteries, marine environment, organizing summer activities for children in villages...

Youth Union members and students of Nguyen Du High School joined forces to clean up the environment at Xuan Thanh Beach Tourist Area.
Tran Nguyen Ngoc Anh, a student of class 12A12 (Nguyen Du High School), shared: “Participating in the campaign not only contributes a small part to the common work of society but also helps me grow up a lot. Collective labor sessions or interacting with people when supporting administrative procedures are all valuable practical lessons, helping me understand more about the responsibility of a young person.”
Sharing the bustling atmosphere of responding to the "Red Flamboyant" campaign in 2025, the Youth Union of Ha Tinh Specialized High School implemented many practical activities, spreading the spirit of initiative and creativity of young people.
The highlight is the 10th “Books are not old” program, scheduled to take place on August 19 at Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School with the goal of donating and presenting about 3,000 textbooks and reference books; awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; and exchanges between secondary school students and speakers who are students and former students of Ha Tinh Specialized High School with high achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.

Tran Thuy Hang, Head of BoNe Club (Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted), said: "Books are not old" is an annual event to call on the community to donate old books that are still valuable to give to children in difficult circumstances. The program has contributed to spreading knowledge, inspiring learning and nurturing the passion for reading for many generations of students. Moreover, this is also an opportunity to connect with friends who share the same interests, and spread positive things to the community. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "Books are not old" journey, the Club has received a large amount of donated books and will classify and package them to give to students.
In addition, the Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted also carries out activities such as landscape care and candle lighting in gratitude. In August, major activities such as Club Day and the “Cheer K35” new student welcoming program will also be held, promising to bring a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere throughout the school.

This year, the "Red Flamboyant" campaign continues to be effective as students and young union members take on a core role in supporting local two-level governments.
The province currently maintains 69 volunteer teams with more than 3,956 members and youth taking turns participating. With the motto "One team - Many tasks", volunteers are divided into specialized groups, arranged directly at the commune-level public administrative service centers to guide and support people in carrying out administrative procedures.
In parallel, community activities continued to be implemented synchronously and widely. The whole province mobilized more than 8,500 students to clean up more than 250 km of village roads, alleys, beaches, take care of and burn incense at martyrs' cemeteries... Previously, nearly 6,500 volunteers supported candidates at high school graduation exam sites, providing drinking water, transportation and necessary information.

This year's "Red Flamboyant" campaign continues to affirm that it is an effective training environment for students and young teachers, helping them develop life skills, a sense of responsibility and a spirit of sharing. The activities are not only limited to volunteer work but also help form good habits, a proactive and creative spirit for students when they return to school. Entering the new school year, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to coordinate with the education sector to expand the model of volunteer clubs in schools, encouraging students to participate in community activities right from their own schools.
