On July 21, Muong Chien commune mobilized 4 local forces to overcome the consequences of storms and tornadoes in Pho Pha village.

Previously, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on July 20, in Pho Pha village, Muong Chien commune, heavy rain and thunderstorms occurred, causing the roofs of 3 houses to be blown off; a telecommunication pole and many trees to be broken, blocking the internal roads of the village; and sinking about 63 civilian boats.

The recovery forces ensure smooth traffic.

The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of Muong Chien Commune and the Management Board of Pho Ma Village mobilized forces and people to support affected households in transporting belongings and assets to safety; cleared traffic routes; successfully salvaged 57 civilian boats... At the same time, they urgently made preliminary statistics of the damage to have timely support measures and advised people to proactively implement plans to prevent and combat natural disasters during the rainy and stormy season.
