According to Xinhua News Agency, according to the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), no survivors were found after a helicopter crashed in the US state of Alaska on the evening of July 20 (local time).

The NTSB said four people were on board the Bell 206L-4 helicopter, operated by a private company. The helicopter lost contact with the electronic tracking system around 7-8 p.m. on July 20 (10-11 a.m. on July 21, Vietnam time).

The helicopter crashed while returning to Utqiagvik after a mission.

NTSB said search and rescue teams from the North Slope found part of the ill-fated helicopter in a lake about 50 miles southwest of Utqiagvik.

Previously, on April 28, three US pilots were also killed when two US Army Apache helicopters crashed in Alaska while returning from a training mission.

The two Apache helicopters belong to the 25th Aviation Regiment of the 11th Airborne Division at Fort Wainwright military base.

The accident occurred near Healy, Alaska, about 80 miles southwest of Fairbanks.
