In 2024, Nam Tra My district continued to record outstanding results and achievements in all aspects. Notably, the economic growth rate was 10.63%, the state budget revenue in the area reached nearly 128% of the resolution target at the beginning of the year, the local budget revenue was more than 1,200 billion VND, reaching 111.33% of the estimate, exceeding the estimate assigned by the province.

Target groups such as afforestation, medicinal plant planting, fruit trees, OCOP products, population arrangement, etc. all met and exceeded targets. Particularly, Ngoc Linh ginseng continued to be focused on planting and expanding the area by 51 hectares (reaching 102%), affirming its role as the main economic tree of the district.

Along with that, the district has implemented many effective economic models such as raising black pigs, concentrated mountain goats, planting cinnamon intercropped with cassava, raising salmon, ginseng garden... At the same time, promoting vocational training and labor export, in 2024 alone, the whole district has 101 workers participating in temporary work abroad.

During the year, 482 households escaped poverty, reducing the poverty rate of the whole district to 2,482 households, accounting for 29.79% of the total number of households in the district; 500 households were relocated with a total cost of more than 33 billion VND.

At the meeting, the District People's Council passed 10 resolutions.
