In 2025, Hanoi continues to support 95 solidarity houses in 10 districts.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city has developed a plan to mobilize and use the "For the Poor" Fund in Hanoi city.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city will continue to support the construction of 95 Great Solidarity houses for near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in 10 districts: Ba Vi, Soc Son, Phu Xuyen, Chuong My, Thuong Tin, My Duc, Thanh Oai, Ung Hoa, Phuc Tho, Dan Phuong.

Of which, the city-level "For the Poor" Fund allocated 4.75 billion VND to support each household with 50 million VND. It is expected that 95 Great Solidarity houses will be completed before October 2025. This is a practical activity to celebrate major holidays in 2025 and respond to the emulation movement "For the Poor - No one is left behind" in the period of 2021-2025 launched by the Prime Minister, as well as to implement programs of the City Party Committee, of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as well as the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2025...

Over the years, the “For the Poor” Fund at all city levels has received the attention, trust and support of organizations, agencies, businesses and people in the area. From the mobilized funds, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all city levels has supported poor households, near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances inside and outside the capital.

Previously, in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and the Hanoi People's Committee signed a joint plan to support the construction and repair of dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the city. 712 poor and near-poor households have completed the construction and repair of their houses. In addition, from the funding sources of the two district and commune levels, 691 houses have been supported to be built and repaired for households in especially difficult circumstances. As of October 2024, Hanoi has completed the construction and repair of dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area.
