On the afternoon of June 24, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on the National Assembly's supervision program in 2026.

According to the supervision program, at the first session, the 16th National Assembly will review the report on the results of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; review the report on the results of the supervision of the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.

The National Assembly considers Government reports on:

- Additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the Socio- Economic Development Plan and State Budget in 2025, the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development Plan and State Budget in the first months of 2026;

- On state finance in 2024; state budget settlement in 2024.

- Practice thrift and fight waste in 2025.

- Implementation status of national goals on gender equality by 2025.

- Implementation of Resolution No. 172/2024/QH15 on investment policy for the North-South high-speed railway project.

- Implementation of Resolution No. 187/2025/QH15 on investment policy for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project.

- Implementation of Resolution No. 188/2025/QH15 on piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City...

At the 2nd Session, the 16th National Assembly reviewed the Government's reports on the results of the implementation of the 2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan and State Budget, the draft Socio-Economic Development Plan and State Budget estimates for 2027, and the central budget allocation plan for 2027.

- Anti-corruption work; anti-crime and law violation work; enforcement of judgments; settlement of complaints and denunciations.

- Implementation of social insurance policies and regimes, management and use of the Social Insurance Fund in 2025; management and use of the Health Insurance Fund in 2025.

- Implementation of Resolution No. 66/2013/QH13 of the National Assembly and the plan to deploy the Ho Chi Minh road project in the next phase.

- Implementation of National Assembly resolutions on Long Thanh International Airport.

- Implementation of Resolution No. 56/2022/QH15 on investment policy for the Project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region;

- Implementation of Resolution No. 57/2022/QH15 on investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 construction investment project.

The National Assembly also reviewed reports of the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy on the implementation of the Constitution, laws, ordinances, and resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Review the report on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the First Session of the 16th National Assembly; the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly.

Review the 2026 work reports of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Nationalities Council, the National Assembly Committees, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Review the State Audit reports on: Work in 2026; Audit plan for 2027.

Conduct questioning and answering questions of National Assembly deputies.
