The educational institutions with the lowest enrollment quota (210 quotas) are: Nguyen Chi Thanh High School (Lak district); N'Trang Long Ethnic Boarding High School (Buon Ma Thuot city), Dam San Ethnic Boarding High School (Buon Ho town). Nguyen Du Specialized High School has 350 quotas.

The entrance exam for grade 10 of the 2025-2026 school year will be held on June 5 and 6, 2025. Candidates will take the exams in Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. The Department of Education and Training will create the exam questions; the exam content is within the 2018 General Education Program, mainly for grade 9.
