Improve forest management and protection

On November 28, the Provincial Forest Protection Department coordinated with Yen Lap Forest Protection Department to organize a training course on monitoring forest and forestry land developments for 40 trainees who are technical staff and forest rangers in Thanh Son, Tan Son, Yen Lap, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa, Phu Lam, Tam Nong, and Thanh Thuy Forest Protection Departments.

At the training session, trainees were informed and guided on the new points of Circular No. 16/2023/TT-BNNPTNT compared to Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BNNPTNT of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development , contents on mobile applications for measuring and reporting forest changes on FRMS Mobile software; monitoring forest changes using remote sensing technology; using software to update forest changes on FRMS Desktop 4.0 software...

Through the training session, trainees will be able to grasp common errors and how to fix them when using FRMS 4.0 Desktop software to update forest developments; know how to use FRMS Mobile software to monitor and collect information on forest resource changes in the field, thereby contributing to improving work efficiency and professional capacity of each officer and local forest ranger.
