Upgrading provincial road 303, leading investment wave into Minh Phuong craft village industrial cluster

As a gateway, the main traffic axis plays an important role in foreign affairs, connecting with industrial parks of Binh Xuyen district, Provincial Road 303 after being upgraded will open up new development space for Yen Lac district. For the Minh Phuong craft village industrial cluster, the project will contribute to synchronously connecting the cluster's traffic system with the provincial traffic network, creating a competitive advantage to attract investors with modern technology, environmental friendliness and high added value.

Construction units are speeding up progress to soon complete the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 303.

The working shift has just begun, the bulldozers and excavators at the construction site of the DT.303 project, section Km 7+00 - Km 9+00 urgently enter the construction position. This year, the rains came quite early, the construction site was often interrupted by the weather, but the construction teams of the joint venture contractor Kehin Joint Stock Company - Nam - Invest Investment Joint Stock Company always try to ensure the proposed progress.

Construction site manager Nguyen Viet Ha shared: “The project is entering an important construction phase. Normally, every time it rains, we have to rest for about a week, which greatly affects the construction progress. Currently, the construction site is maintaining 20 workers and many modern machines and equipment, striving to complete the project in September 2024. To make the most of the remaining time, the construction teams and groups at the site are always highly focused, monitoring the weather forecast every day to develop the most effective construction plan and schedule.”

DT.303 has a total length of 16 km connecting from Yen Lac town, Yen Lac district to National Highway 2, in Binh Xuyen district. In particular, the section from Km7+00 to Km9+00 is located next to Minh Phuong craft village industrial park, in Nguyet Duc commune, which is an important connection point with the traffic network in the Binh Xuyen - Yen Lac area.

Although the road has been regularly repaired and maintained, this section of the road is now in serious disrepair. The road surface is separated from the embankments on both sides of the road, and the road surface is peeling off, posing a danger to vehicles.

To renovate the route, complete the traffic infrastructure, welcome the investment wave in Minh Phuong Craft Village Industrial Park and industrial projects of Yen Lac district in the future, the Project to renovate and upgrade DT.303, section from Km7+00 to Km9+00 was approved with a total investment of more than 126 billion VND, and started construction from September 2022 to facilitate traffic connection.

Since the end of February 2023, when the problems with site clearance (GPMB) were resolved, the joint venture contractor has quickly implemented construction measures. However, DT.303 has a weak geological foundation, is prone to subsidence, and because the project is located close to the irrigation canal serving production and ensuring drainage, the construction process has encountered many difficulties. After exploratory drilling, the construction unit has developed specific plans to ensure the structure and durability of the roadbed when put into use.

Determined to complete the project, the joint venture contractor has organized the construction scientifically, combining modern construction technology with high-quality equipment and machinery. Up to now, the construction progress of the roadbed has reached more than 90% of the volume; K98 embankment has reached 70%; the drainage system has reached more than 80%; the base has been filled 50%, the project is expected to be completed on schedule and put into use in September this year.

This will be a very favorable condition for Minh Phuong Craft Village Industrial Park, as this industrial park owns a strategic location right at the gateway to Yen Lac town, Yen Lac district. With a total planned construction area of ​​nearly 40 hectares, the craft village industrial park is considered to have a prime location, when moving from the project to Noi Bai airport via DT.303, then moving to DT.301 in just 30 minutes, from the project moving to Vinh Yen city center via DT 305 in just 10 minutes, moving to Binh Xuyen industrial park via DT 303 about 10 minutes. From the project to Vinh Phuc ICD Logistic Center is also only 20 minutes away.

Resolution of the 22nd Yen Lac District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 clearly defines the goal of developing industry into a spearhead economic sector of the district in the coming years.

To achieve this goal, the district has divided the construction planning of Yen Lac district until 2030, with a vision to 2050, in which it aims to develop 3 industrial parks (area of ​​473 hectares) including Binh Xuyen - Yen Lac Industrial Park, Yen Lac - Yen Phuong Industrial Park and the Dong Soc Industrial Park expansion project in Yen Dong commune.

DT.303 has been invested in upgrading, after completion it will contribute to perfecting the traffic infrastructure, helping Yen Lac district open the "door" to realize the goals of industrial and handicraft development.
