Dramatic coronation
The 2024/25 Scudetto title has been claimed. Napoli won the Serie A title in dramatic fashion, in one of the most dramatic seasons in recent years.
This is only the second time in 15 years that the Italian football championship has been decided on the final round. The previous time was AC Milan's victory in the 2021/22 season.

Calcio fans are excited to enter the final round, where Napoli and Inter Milan are separated by just 1 point and play at the same time. According to Serie A regulations, if the two teams finish level on points, they will have to play a play-off (spareggio) to decide the championship, without extra time and a penalty shootout if the match is a draw.
The ultimate glory went to Napoli, but both deserved to win the title after a competitive season.
Scott McTominay's opener - a flying strike - in the dying minutes of the first half sent Napoli tifosi into a frenzy, before Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead early in the second half.
By then, everything seemed settled, even if Inter were also leading Cesc Fabregas' Como 2-0, with goalkeeper Pepe Reina sent off on his retirement day.
Thus, Napoli has overthrown Inter to return to the Serie A throne. This is the second Scudetto title in the last 3 seasons of the team from the southern Italian port city.

In 2023, under the leadership of Luciano Spalletti - who is currently leading the Italian national team - Napoli is one of the most watched teams in Europe, winning the championship early with 16 points more than the runner-up (Lazio).
At that time, the city celebrated all week because “Partenopei” won the championship after 33 years of waiting, since the 1989/90 season with the legendary Diego Maradona in the squad.
Along with Spalletti's beautiful football style, the 2023 Scudetto title has the mark of conductor Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, striker Victor Osimhen or center-back Kim Min Jae.
Conte's mark
In the summer of 2024, President Aurelio De Laurentiis invited Antonio Conte to the Maradona stadium after a season of only finishing 10th in Serie A, as well as going through 3 different coaches.
Conte arrived when Kim Min Jae left early for Bayern Munich. During pre-season, Osimhen rebelled and demanded to leave and was sent to Galatasaray on loan.

The 2023 Scudetto mark only has Kvaratskhelia left – who was revived by Conte but in January chose to join PSG.
Conte's mission is to bring Napoli back to the Champions League group. In a season without participation in the European arena, leaving the Coppa Italia early, the former Juventus midfielder has done more than expected.
From the start, Conte brought a new spirit to the team. He revived the team from the ashes, helping the players regain their motivation and desire to win.
Conte pulled Lukaku back to replace Osimhen. At the same time, he succeeded in building a midfield with McTominay - a player who had no place at MU.
McTominay is proof of MU's failure and disorientation . The Scottish player scored 12 goals in Serie A, including 8 goals to break the 0-0 scoreline.
With the new squad, Conte helped Napoli set a special record: for the first time in the history of Serie A with 20 clubs, the team ranked 10th last season went on to win the championship the following season. A spectacular climb.

Napoli became the fourth club in his career that Conte brought to the national championship, with a total of 6 championships (out of 9 titles; not including Serie B).
Previously, he led Juventus to win 3 consecutive Scudetto (2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14), won Serie A 2020/21 with Inter; and conquered the Premier League 2016/17 with Chelsea.
Napoli tifosi watched their team win the title in Udinese two years ago. This time, the glory was won right at Diego Maradona's stadium, so it was even more special.
At the foot of the Vesuvio volcano, on the shore of a picturesque bay, Napoli fans poured into every corner to celebrate the Scudetto, as well as their ambition to conquer the Champions League with Conte.
