To celebrate two important events of the country: the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on August 8, Hanoi officially launched the digital platform "A80 - Proud of Vietnam".
The platform includes: Website at https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn and mobile application of the same name, acting as the official information channel, serving the propaganda, introduction and guidance of major commemorative activities taking place throughout the city.
According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, “A80 - Proud of Vietnam” is a digital information portal that fully and accurately updates content related to the celebration, including: Parade schedule, art programs, exhibitions, along with information on traffic, security, health and memorable images and videos.
This is an official information channel, serving the propaganda, guidance, and introduction of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 taking place in the area; connecting people across the country and international friends on the journey towards history.
With a bright red and yellow design, along with images of President Ho Chi Minh and the parade on the homepage, the website interface creates a solemn, modern and friendly atmosphere. The intuitive content structure, clearly categorized by event, helps users easily search, interact and share.
The website integrates social networks, photo libraries, videos, and digital event maps, contributing to spreading patriotism, connecting the community, and affirming the identity of Thang Long - Hanoi, a thousand years of civilization.
Not only does it serve the role of transmitting information, the digital platform “A80 - Proud of Vietnam” is also equipped with smart utilities such as: AI Chatbot for event consultation, directions, reminders; interactive maps with event locations, water points, medical stations, etc.
At the same time, the traffic warning system helps people move safely and avoid congestion. All are built with the philosophy of "taking people's experience as the center", reflecting modern technological thinking associated with the responsibility of serving the community.
