Newcastle raises price to buy Sesko, MU 'hot face'

The battle for Benjamin Sesko continues to intensify as Newcastle raise their transfer fee, putting MU at a further disadvantage.

Newcastle United continue to accelerate transfer activities related to potential young striker Benjamin Sesko.

Expert Fabrizio Romano said, "The Magpies" officially sent an offer worth 90 million euros to RB Leipzig.

The fee comprises a fixed fee of €80 million payable immediately, and €10 million in add-ons.

For their part, MU once again confirmed to RB Leipzig that they will send an official offer if Sesko prioritizes arriving at Old Trafford.

However, not proactively setting a price in advance puts the Red Devils in a passive position compared to their opponents.

MU officials can only "pray" that Sesko will choose MU because of its past reputation, instead of Newcastle - a team with great determination, strong financial potential and participation in the Champions League.

Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions last season for Leipzig, 13 of them in the Bundesliga.
