Admire Lynk & Co 03 TCR - a racing car worth over 4.5 billion in Vietnam

The new generation of the Lynk & Co 03 TCR racing car is due to be launched in 2023, with an improved design based on the road car version.

This new Lynk & Co 03 TCR model on display in Vietnam is not for the masses because it is only produced for the racetrack, however, this is a product based on the new generation Lynk & Co 03 sedan.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR is built by Geely Group Motorsport and is used by Cyan Racing to compete in the FIA ​​WTCR and TCR World Tour under the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing banner - the same team that developed Volvo cars and won the WTCC in 2017.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR debuted at the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) in 2019, marking the Chinese brand's first entry into an FIA-sanctioned race. The overall dimensions of the Lynk & Co 03 TCR are 4,740 x 1,950 mm in length x width, 2,760 mm in wheelbase and 1,265 kg in weight.

The front of the car is designed to be lowered with large air intakes and a blade-shaped grille to increase aerodynamic efficiency. At the rear of the car, a large carbon fiber spoiler is not only a visual highlight but also creates up to 163 kg of downforce when the car is operating at high speed.

The car has 18-inch multi-spoke rims combined with a high-performance braking system, affirming the clear sporty orientation of this special Lynk & Co 03 TCR sedan.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 340 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque according to TCR regulations.

Combined with a 6-speed sequential gearbox (60 millisecond shift time) with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, front-wheel drive.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR's front and rear McPherson suspension is multi-link and adjustable.

Front brake system 6-piston calipers, 380 mm ventilated discs and rear 2-piston calipers, 278 mm ventilated discs.

The price of the Lynk & Co 03 TCR was revealed to be 148,000 EUR (equivalent to about 172,453 USD, converted to 4.53 billion VND).
