The contest is a playground for students of the school to practice and shine, thereby orienting their style and lifestyle. Besides, it also aims to honor and promote the beauty and image of intelligent, talented, elegant and responsible students of the school to the whole society.
Overcoming more than 100 registrations and preliminary and final rounds with competitions, the 20 best candidates (including 10 men and 10 women) officially entered the final round.
After 3 main competitions in the final round (including performing traditional costumes of countries around the world related to the major; evening gown performance; bilingual behavior in Vietnamese and the foreign language being studied), the organizing committee awarded the crown to female student Ngo Hieu Linh (registration number 02, Faculty of English Language and Culture). This female student also received the additional prize of Talented Beauty.
The first and second runners-up were Tran Nguyet My (Faculty of English Language and Culture) and Cao Cu Kim Chi (Foreign Language High School, University of Foreign Languages).
The male king of the contest is contestant Pham Huu Phuoc (Faculty of English Language and Culture).
The judges assessed that not only did they impress with their outstanding appearance, the two contestants who won the titles of Miss and King also clearly affirmed their outstanding abilities and qualities thanks to their strong will, outstanding language skills, and confident, professional demeanor.
Through each round of competition – from integration, talent to behavioral competition – Hieu Linh and Huu Phuoc have continuously affirmed the comprehensive qualities of a modern Foreign Language student: Intelligent, profound, compassionate and always ready to integrate into the global environment.
