Most Rolls-Royce Phantoms that people see out in the open are black, which we think looks best. Some wealthy owners have ordered white, others have chosen silver, grey or black... But a few others have opted for a very bold color, including a Rosso Mars Phantom with just 791 miles on the odometer that’s looking for a new home in the United States. The car looks distinctive with its red paint, black grille, and other black details, and a few chrome accents.
This red Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII looks exactly like the standard model, and the interior is almost entirely a combination of red and black. The shooting star headliner is clearly on the floor, and the headrests and other interior details are emblazoned with the 'RR' logo for obvious reasons. The lengthy equipment list includes the Phantom Package, which is said to be a $41,650 option. The car also features an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy emblem ($10,000), a dark chrome grille ($3,800), chrome exhaust tips ($5,750), a custom clock ($6,600), a custom interior ($9,800), technical fibers ($14,050), Spirit of Ecstasy-embossed doors ($2,250), and Phoenix Red lambswool floor mats ($1,825). If that's not enough, you should know that this particular Rolls-Royce Phantom also boasts amenities like rear massage seats with a center console, rear black curtains, raised legroom, 22-inch wheels, and many other amenities that the future owner will surely love.
This massive four-door luxury sedan has a curb weight of 5,754 pounds (2,610 kg) and, like the regular Phantom, which is smaller in size, it uses the same Architecture of Luxury platform as the electric grand tourers Ghost, Cullinan, and Spectre. The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII received a facelift three years ago, or as the Goodwood firm calls it, the Series II. The facelifted sedan features a revised grille that now features an illuminated grille, new headlights, and a few other changes that subtly differentiate it from the previous generation, the Series I, which debuted in 2017. The customization options are truly outstanding, although that's understandable for a car that's about as luxurious a driving experience as money can buy. As for power, it's 563 horsepower and 664 pound-feet (900 Nm) of torque.
The car's 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine hasn't been improved either. The Rolls-Royce Phantom takes about 6 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h, and the EWB (extended wheelbase) version, the specs of the car pictured, is about a second slower in a straight line.
