Bank sells assets that Shark Tam Asanzo claims to have invested in

The total starting price of the collateral assets is 15 billion VND. Of which, an organic fertilizer production system, starting price 4.825 billion VND; 2 mixers, starting price 2.398 billion VND. 2 ridge mixers 2.230 billion VND; 2 loaders 1.350 billion VND; 1 feed chopper 482 million VND. 4 Thaco trucks, starting price from 328 - 340 million VND; ... and other machinery and equipment serving agricultural production.

T&T 159 Joint Stock Company was established by Mr. Ha Van Thang and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2012 with a charter capital of 300 billion VND, operating in the field of fertilizer production, animal feed and breeding of breeding cattle and beef cattle in Hoa Binh province.

All of the above assets are used as collateral for T&T 159's loan at VietinBank .

Notably, T&T 159 was once announced by Mr. Pham Van Tam (Shark Tam), founder of the Asanzo TV brand - to invest hundreds of billions to produce organic fertilizer brand "3 Cows".

At the launching event of the “3 Cows” brand of T&T 159 in March 2021, Mr. Tam was introduced as the Chairman of the “3 Cows” organic fertilizer brand, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T 159 Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. This is an enterprise established with a charter capital of only 2 billion VND, in which the largest shareholder is Winsan Group Investment Joint Stock Company (Winsan Group) owning 40% of the capital.

Winsan Group was founded by Asanzo Group Chairman Pham Van Tam in May 2020, operating mainly in the field of investment consulting , with a charter capital of up to 300 billion VND, Mr. Pham Van Tam holds the controlling power with an ownership ratio of up to 95% of charter capital.

Shark Tam has entered the agricultural sector one year after the Asanzo scandal over unclear origin of goods. The owner of Asanzo announced that he and a group of investors have invested 2,000 billion VND in a system of 5 cow farms stretching from Hoa Binh to Nghe An with a scale of 25,000 cows.

However, immediately after Shark Tam announced this investment in the media, T&T 159 refuted Shark Tam's statement and said that they had not received any investment from him.

The leaders of T&T 159 at that time affirmed that the information that Mr. Tam and a group of investors poured thousands of billions into a system of cow farms stretching from Hoa Binh to Nghe An was incorrect, but only exclusive distribution of 3 Con Bo fertilizer to the Southern market produced by T&T 159.

Previously, in June 2023, Agribank Nam Ha Noi branch also announced the auction of two cars, Porsche Cayenne (manufactured in 2008) and Toyota Landcruiser (manufactured in 2000) used as collateral for loans of T&T 159 Joint Stock Company and T&T 159 Food Joint Stock Company (a business belonging to the T&T 159 ecosystem).

'State Bank must compulsorily transfer Dong A Bank to another bank'

The State Bank coordinated to speed up the compulsory transfer process for the 3 compulsory purchase banks (OceanBank, GPBank, CBBank). As for Dong A Bank, due to its negative equity, according to regulations, it must be compulsory transferred to another bank.
