On the morning of May 14, Tan Son Nhat International Airport announced that starting from 4:00 a.m. on May 17, the airport will officially transfer all domestic flight operations of Vietnam Airlines from Terminal T1 to Terminal T3. This is the result after more than 20 days of testing the actual operation of Vietnam Airlines' flights between Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi and Van Don at Terminal T3.

This conversion aims to optimize service processes, reduce waiting times and enhance customer experience. Vietnam Airlines' domestic flights will be fully operated at Terminal T3 from that time. At the same time, other airlines such as VietJet Air, Pacific Airlines, Vasco, Vietravel Airlines, Bamboo Airways and flights operated by ATR72 aircraft of Vietnam Airlines (VN) for routes to Con Dao (VCS), Ca Mau (CAH) and Rach Gia (VKG) will continue to operate at Terminal T1 as before.
This change aims to improve the operational efficiency of the entire terminal system, creating favorable conditions for passengers to move, check in and collect their luggage. Passengers planning to fly during this period should pay attention to official announcements from airlines and airports to update the latest information on check-in points and boarding gates.

Vietnam Airlines is committed to working closely to ensure the transition is smooth, safe and most convenient for passengers. Terminal 3 will also enhance customer support services, guidance and ensure all operations run efficiently.
