Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,610,724 infections, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories, while with the rate of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120th out of 231 countries and territories (on average, there are 117,335 infections per 1 million people).

COVID-19 vaccination status
On May 28, 2023, 78 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were injected.
Thus, the total number of vaccine doses injected is 266,406,399 doses, of which the number of doses injected for people aged 18 and over is 223,739,018 doses: 70,909,168 doses for the first dose; 68,455,652 doses for the second dose; 14,344,115 doses for the supplementary dose; 52,132,872 doses for the first booster dose; 17,897,211 doses for the second booster dose.
The number of doses for children aged 12-17 is 23,965,543 doses: 1st dose is 9,130,889 doses; 2nd dose is 9,021,366 doses; 1st booster dose is 5,813,288 doses.
