On January 4, 2026, the 31st National Mountain Cross Country Race 'Conquering Ba Ra Peak' will take place.

In order to prepare for the 31st National Mountain Cross-Country Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak" in 2026 to take place successfully, this morning (November 21), the working delegation of the Organizing Committee led by Mr. Cao Quoc Sang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television, together with representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietrace365 Joint Stock Company, surveyed the race course and worked with the leaders of Phuoc Long Ward People's Committee.

During the survey trip, the team conducted a field trip from the starting point of the race right at the “Phuoc Long Victory” Monument to the top of Ba Ra Mountain and the road around the foot of the mountain. According to the survey team’s assessment, the race’s race route has quite beautiful natural scenery, fresh and cool air, very ideal for organizing a prestigious local cross-country race.

In order for the tournament to be successful, creating an impression not only for the athletes but also for the people and tourists who come to participate and cheer for this event, working with the leaders of Phuoc Long ward, the tournament organizing committee hopes that the locality will support issues such as: Coordinating the organization of press conferences about the tournament; promoting cheering decorations and visual propaganda; clearing and cleaning the running track to ensure aesthetics and safety; ensuring security and food hygiene and safety; arranging forces to coordinate the opening and closing ceremonies and the tournament process...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Phuoc Long Ward People's Committee Nguyen Trung Thanh said: The National Cross-Country Mountain Climbing Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak" is a traditional, large-scale sporting event held locally. The race not only celebrates the historic liberation day of Phuoc Long (January 6, 1975) but is also an opportunity to promote the image, potential and strengths of the locality... Therefore, the Ward People's Committee strongly supports the race to continue this year. Regarding the tasks proposed by the Organizing Committee, the Ward People's Committee will consider and make every effort to support in order to help the race take place successfully, impressively and safely.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 31st National Mountain Cross Country Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak" in 2026 will take place on January 4, 2026, with distances for men, young men, women, young women and 2 distances of 6.1km, 19km for the grassroots system. The tournament is organized by Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Phuoc Long and Phuoc Binh wards.
