Nghe An has the highest 2025 high school graduation exam score in the country

(Dan Tri) - Nghe An has the highest average score in many subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam in the country, especially the literature subject with 8.035 points.

On July 16, according to information from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the scores for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Nghe An has excelled in becoming the locality with the highest average exam scores in all subjects in the country, especially leading the country in average scores in literature.

With 39,062 candidates taking the exam, the average literature score of Nghe An students reached 8,035 points, the highest in the country.

Following Nghe An are Ha Tinh (7,913 points), Hanoi (7,626 points) and Thanh Hoa (7,609 points). No candidate nationwide achieved a perfect score of 10 in literature this year.

In geography, Nghe An also recorded 557 students achieving 10 points, ranking 2nd nationwide in absolute score and 3rd in average score with 6,942 points.

According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, this achievement is even more meaningful as this is the first year the high school graduation exam is organized according to the new general education program, and at the same time, review and teaching also face many challenges from the regulations of Circular 29 on extra teaching and learning.

To achieve this impressive result, the entire Nghe An education sector has proactively implemented many solutions to support students.

From the second semester to before the exam, 100% (91 high schools) across the province organized free review classes for 38,365 grade 12 students, with thousands of review sessions being conducted seriously.
