Nghe An: Highlights on April 16

* On the morning of April 16, on the occasion of the 154th anniversary of Lenin's birth (April 22, 1870 - April 22, 2024), in President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, Nghe An province and Ulyanovsk province solemnly held the ceremony to receive and inaugurate the statue of Lenin.

* On the morning of April 16, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the reception and working session between the Provincial People's Committee and the Ulyanovsk Provincial Government Delegation and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam.

* On the same day, during the visit and working program in Nghe An province, the delegation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam and the Ulyanovsk provincial government visited the Kim Lien National Special Monument to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

* The relationship between Ulyanovsk and Nghe An provinces is one of the symbols of Vietnam - Russia friendship. In the coming time, the two sides expect to open up many cooperation opportunities in many fields, tightening and expanding diplomatic relations.

* On the afternoon of April 16, in Tan Ky district, Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center organized a report on the Program to participate in the Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail and the traditional day of Truong Son soldiers (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2024).
