In the flood after the circulation of storm No. 10, Yen Hoa commune in Nghe An province suffered heavy damage, in which 18 villages were isolated and many households faced difficulties due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain. Up to now, many damaged and landslide-prone roads have not been restored, and many houses swept away by the flood have not been rebuilt.
After storm No. 10, Nga My commune, Nghe An suffered heavy damage due to heavy rains causing flash floods, with initial estimates of about 55 billion VND. Many houses were flooded, 4 houses were swept away, traffic was seriously blocked due to landslides and many roads were isolated. To date, 3 villages are still isolated due to many landslides.

Sharing the immediate difficulties of the people of the two communes, the delegation presented to the two communes of Nga My and Yen Hoa necessities such as medical medicine, teaching equipment, rice, fish sauce and clothes with a total value of 200 million VND.

In addition, the delegation visited and provided support to 4 households in Nga My commune whose houses were swept away by flood with 5 million VND/household and 12 million VND to 10 families in Yen Hoa commune whose houses were damaged. The delegation also presented 5 million VND to students in difficult circumstances.
Sharing the difficulties with the locality, the delegation supported Nga My commune with 25 million VND to buy a generator for social work. The total amount of money for this support for people affected by natural disasters is nearly 500 million VND.
