Local police are organizing drug rehabilitation for more than 49,000 people.

Through the peak plan, the police force has detected and recorded more than 21,200 cases of drug addicts, illegal users and people under post-rehabilitation management; contributing to reducing more than 24% of social order crimes in the first 9 months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.

On October 18, the Ministry of Public Security held a conference on solutions to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of the peak plan for general screening, detection, statistics, management of drug addicts, illegal drug users, people under post-rehabilitation management, and the fight to eradicate complex drug hotspots and hotspots; and a summary of 6 months of receiving the task of State management of drug rehabilitation and post-rehabilitation management.

Through the peak plan, the police force has detected and recorded more than 21,200 cases of drug addicts, illegal users and people under post-rehabilitation management; contributing to reducing more than 24% of social order crimes in the first 9 months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.

After 6 months of implementing the State management task of drug addiction treatment, 77 facilities under the local police have received more than 22,800 new drug addicts and people in the process of completing their records for compulsory drug addiction treatment; issued certificates to more than 18,200 people who have completed drug addiction treatment. Currently, local police are organizing drug addiction treatment for more than 49,000 people.
