Born in the rural area of Tu Nghia commune ( Quang Ngai province), the year-round sunshine and wind have forged Pham Tram Anh's strength and diligence. As a prominent young figure in youth union and association activities, Pham Tram Anh always strives to improve herself.

Determined to overcome challenges

Pham Tram Anh's journey to becoming a civil engineering major stemmed simply from a fascinating observation. "The society around us is constantly developing. Tall buildings are springing up everywhere. The more construction projects there are, the greater the demand for civil engineers," Tram Anh explained.

The decision to "anticipate" the labor market demands in the construction sector presented many challenges and pressures for the young woman. Through each course, the construction engineering student realized that in addition to classroom knowledge such as beam and slab structures, and steel reinforcement placement, practical experience was crucial.

“When connecting with senior engineers, one piece of advice I received was that construction work is constantly changing, so you have to set foot on every construction site to understand and develop yourself. Each project has its own unique characteristics. Contributing my efforts to these projects is my goal,” Tram Anh shared.

With her decisive and quick-witted personality, Phạm Trâm Anh was already working on the roof of a six-story building under construction from her second year of university. The self-admonition that "if I don't gain practical experience now, when will I ever become proficient in my profession?" motivated Phạm Trâm Anh to strive in every job she did, from assisting construction workers and supervising projects to collaborating on design blueprints.

Recalling moments of rest at the construction site, Pham Tram Anh realized that the path she was taking had a few things in common with the demands of society's job market. These included a spirit of daring to think and act, meticulousness, and especially perseverance.

The enthusiastic spirit of youth

“Start working early, dare to stumble and get back up to know what you need. High-rise buildings or construction projects of all sizes require discipline and work ethics. Construction at height is completely different from working on the ground. Every step must be taken with absolute caution,” said Tram Anh.

To balance her studies with student union activities, Pham Tram Anh maintains a well-structured schedule. Her practical work experience and positive contributions to the school's student union activities have earned her numerous accolades.

According to Ngo Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Da Nang University of Architecture, Pham Tram Anh's special quality lies in the fact that she is a student studying a major that is relatively difficult for women.

“During her studies, Tram Anh demonstrated strong social skills, was very dynamic and enthusiastic. Her enthusiasm acted as a catalyst, boosting the activities of the student union. Currently, in addition to her role as a collaborator in the student union office, Tram Anh is also the Deputy Secretary of the Faculty's Student Union.”

"Based on the achievements Pham Tram Anh has made, we will continue to support her so that she can make further progress and successfully complete the activities and tasks assigned by the Party Committee and the Youth Union," shared Ngo Tuan Anh.

Recently, Tram Anh was honored to receive the title "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" at the city level for 2025 from the Da Nang City Youth Union. In addition, some of Pham Tram Anh's outstanding achievements include: achieving the title "Excellent Student" at the city level for the 2023-2024 academic year; receiving a commendation from the City Youth Union for outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and student movements in the 2022-2023 academic year; and receiving a commendation from the City Youth Union for outstanding achievements in Youth Month activities in 2024...
