The Department of Construction requests that the People's Committees of communes and wards strengthen patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations of traffic safety in road and inland waterway transport activities, especially at ferry crossings, within lakes, and at unauthorized passenger pick-up and drop-off points.

Road transport units fully comply with business conditions, strictly manage factors ensuring traffic safety; monitor speed and driving time through vehicle tracking devices and cameras; do not arbitrarily alter vehicle structure; and at the same time strengthen professional ethics education for drivers and service personnel.

For waterway transport, units must maintain the technical safety of vehicles, ensure service quality, provide sufficient life jackets and flotation devices, and instruct passengers on their use when participating in traffic.
