On the morning of October 6, the Advisory Council evaluated and accepted the results of the provincial-level science and technology project "Building and managing geographical indications "Lai Chau Tea" for tea products of Lai Chau province" chaired by the Center for Research and Development of Agricultural Systems, with Master Bui Kim Dong as the head.

The Council was attended by representatives of the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, Cooperative Alliance, leaders of the People's Committees of Si Lo Lau, Ban Bo communes... and representatives of the host unit and research members from the Center for Research and Development of Agricultural Systems. At the acceptance meeting, the delegates listened to the project host unit summarize the objectives, content and results achieved. The project objectives are: Assess the current status of tea production and consumption in Lai Chau province; Build CDDL "Lai Chau Tea" for tea products of Lai Chau province; Build a management system and develop geographical indication "Lai Chau Tea".

After listening to the summary report, the council members commented: The project team has implemented the project contents, investigated the current situation and assessed the current situation of production and consumption of tea products in Lai Chau province; built a "Lai Chau Tea" tourism CD for tea products of Lai Chau province; built a management system and developed the geographical indication "Lai Chau Tea" ....

Concluding remarks by Master Nguyen Minh Hieu - Director of the Department of Science and Technology - Chairman of the Council: He highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the host unit as well as the project manager who completed the project products. However, he also requested the project members to closely follow the contents and objectives of the Provincial People's Committee's orders, and to supplement and clarify according to the opinions of the council members, to supplement the province's investment support, the potential strengths of Lai Chau province, and to propose solutions that need to be implemented.
