Previously, on November 17 and 18, 2025, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company had to stop running 6 passenger trains (November 17: SNT1, November 18: SE8, SE5, SE21/22, SE6).

As of 9:00 a.m. on November 19, 2025, 10 passenger trains have stopped running.

Currently, the railway industry has implemented a free online ticket return feature in cases where train schedules are affected by natural disasters, special incidents, traffic jams, delays or cancellations.

Passengers who receive notice of train stoppage (via SMS/ZALO) can return their tickets free of charge at the station or online via website dsvn.vn, without having to go to the station to check in as before.

The electronic ticketing system will automatically refund the ticket amount to the account used for payment.

To ensure correct operation, passengers need to pay attention to enter correct and complete information, including: phone number, email address, booking code. This information is the basis for the system to automatically compare, verify and make refunds.

* On the morning of November 19, information from the leader of Nha Trang Railway Transport Branch said that heavy rain in Khanh Hoa province from November 16 to this morning caused landslides on some railway sections, washed away the roadbed, and forced the suspension of some trains.

Accordingly, at km 1358+290, the Nga Ba - Suoi Cat section, the floodwaters rushed in and flooded the railway, washing away the stone foundation. Currently, the authorities have blocked off this area, waiting for the weather to stabilize, the rain and water flow to decrease before carrying out repairs.

In the North of Khanh Hoa province, heavy rain and strong currents also washed away the roadbed at km 1262+300-550; 1265+300-350; 1268+800-900. As soon as the information was received, the railway sector blocked the Hoa Huynh - Gia Phong section at 7:32 am. Repair plans must wait for the weather to be favorable before they can be implemented.

Currently, SNT2 trains stop at Hoa Tan station. Other railway trains running Thong Nhat SE1 and SE3 lines stop at Dieu Tri station; SE4 and SE2 trains stop at Tuy Hoa station; SNT2 trains stop at Hoa Tan station. For affected passengers, the railway industry will organize support for passengers to refund or return tickets for booked journeys when the route is not yet operational.

Heavy rains also caused flooding on national and provincial roads in Khanh Hoa province. Road traffic is still running smoothly. However, for some deeply flooded sections of National Highway 1, people need to pay attention to ensure traffic safety. For dangerous sections, authorities also set up barriers and warnings. People need to strictly follow instructions to ensure safety of property and life.

As for the two passes of Khanh Le and Khanh Son, the authorities are still trying to clear the route and search for the missing person (Khanh Son). However, due to the complicated weather, the recovery and search work is facing many difficulties.

According to initial statistics from authorities, heavy rains caused traffic disruption and landslides across the province, estimated at 80 billion VND.
