BRINGING PARTY RESOLUTIONS INTO LIFE Dong Nai Provincial Political School strives to improve the quality of its staff

One of the three breakthrough tasks stated in the Resolution of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is to improve the quality of the staff, especially key staff at all levels with strong political will, sufficient qualities, capacity, high action and aspiration to contribute, and prestige equal to the task.

To implement the above breakthrough content, it is necessary to synchronously carry out all stages of personnel work, including training and fostering of personnel.

More than 61,000 officers and civil servants have been trained and developed.

With the assigned political responsibility of being the "cradle" of training and fostering leaders, managers, civil servants and public employees for the province, Dong Nai Provincial Political School always clearly understands the Party's viewpoint and is imbued with the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh: "Cadres are the root of all work", "Training cadres is the root of the Party's work". Over the past time, the school has always done a good job of training and fostering cadres for the province. In the current context, when the country is entering a new stage of development; Dong Nai province with an important position in socio-economic development, the training, fostering and improving the professional qualifications and political theory for the cadre team equal to the task becomes more urgent and strategic.

According to the leaders of Dong Nai Provincial Political School, in recent times, implementing the direction of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Political School has comprehensively led and directed all aspects of the school's activities.

In the 2020-2025 period alone, the Provincial Political School organized 415 political theory training classes with 34,700 students. The training program content combines theory with practice, enhances leadership, management skills, digital skills and improves international integration capacity...

Regarding professional training, the school coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, departments, branches and localities to develop 30 types of training programs, specialized training for job positions and titles. Organized 282 training classes with 26,700 students. Content was promptly updated with current domestic and international issues, public administration, digital transformation, leadership and management skills and Party, government and mass organization work.

In addition, the school also carried out many scientific research projects and summarized practices. Accordingly, it organized 1 ministerial-level workshop, 2 regional-level workshops, 9 provincial-level workshops and 33 school-level scientific seminars and workshops; deployed 7 provincial-level topics and 42 grassroots-level scientific research topics... Scientific projects are the basis for the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to solve many important theoretical and practical issues, close to the local situation; in particular, a number of projects on digital economy, digital transformation, commune-level public administration service centers... have been linked to the practice of the province's 2-level local government apparatus.

MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION BY SPECIFIC PRODUCTS

In the Action Program of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Executive Committee to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, it is stated: "Developing an Investment Project to build a Provincial Political School that meets level 2 standards, period 2026-2030".

Party Secretary and Principal of Dong Nai Provincial Political School Phan Xuan Linh said: The school aims to achieve Level 1 Political School standards by May 19, 2026 and strives to achieve Level 2 Political School standards by February 3, 2030, aiming to develop Dong Nai Political School into the only training center for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the political system of Dong Nai province and become a center for research and summarizing practices of the province...

To effectively carry out the school's tasks, the school's leaders have proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee continue to pay attention to investing in facilities and modern teaching equipment for the Provincial Political School. Agencies and units in the political system proactively order training and development content suitable to the practical requirements of the industry and locality. Actively share leadership and management experiences and practical situations for the school to participate in handling; at the same time, coordinate with the Political School in evaluating the quality of cadres after training, ensuring the connection between training and use of cadres.

According to Dong Nai Provincial Political School, the school continues to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; departments, branches, sectors and localities in planning, training, arranging and using cadres; annually organizing post-training cadre evaluations to focus on output efficiency, ensuring that cadres after studying and training have clear growth in qualities, capacity and prestige.

Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Ha Thanh Tung said: Implementing the 2-level local government model, the commune level has been transferred many tasks from the district level and has many new tasks, so the Provincial Political School needs to strengthen the teaching of situation handling skills for cadres and civil servants; the teaching content is closely related to the practical situation.

Comrade Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, commented: Building a team of cadres that are both "red" and "specialized" is the key to opening the door for Dong Nai to develop more strongly in the coming time.

He suggested: To contribute to building a team of cadres in the whole province with sufficient qualities, capacity, high sense of action and dedication, and prestige equal to the task, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Political School need to pay special attention to Party building work.

The school's staff and lecturers, in addition to being professionally qualified, must possess all the qualities of a teacher, scientist, manager, have a strong political stance; regularly update new knowledge, helping students grasp theory and situation handling skills.

The product to evaluate the quality of the school is to train and foster cadres with knowledge, courage, ethics, skills, and practical capacity, meeting the requirements of leadership and management, performing tasks of agencies, units, and localities, especially in the new context, implementing the 2-level local government model.
