At the training session, Master Pham Huu Hien, lecturer of Binh Duong University (Phu Loi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) shared with the worship committee of communal houses and temples; officers of the Department of Culture and Society of wards and communes in the province the topic: Rituals of worshiping communal houses and temples of Southern Vietnam, Dong Nai province.
The Southern folk temple and communal house worshiping ritual is a collection of traditional rituals to pray for peace, favorable weather and to express gratitude to the tutelary god, gods, and ancestors who have contributed to reclaiming land and establishing villages. It is an indispensable part of the temple and communal house worshiping rituals.

Organizing training courses on worship rituals at Southern folk temples and shrines is a practical activity to help the worship committees of temples and shrines, and cultural officers improve their knowledge and skills as well as exchange and share experiences in the journey of preserving, introducing and spreading the values of Southern folk beliefs - an important part of the nation's intangible cultural heritage.
On this occasion, the students of the Tan Lan Communal House's Worshiping Committee practiced the ritual of worshiping the communal house and temple at the Tran Bien Temple of Literature relic.
