As reported by Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, late on November 19, at Km 226+500 on Mimosa Pass (from Duc Trong to Da Lat), in Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, a particularly serious subsidence occurred.

The entire road surface was completely broken, about 50m wide, about 30m deep, the slide length was up to 100m, cutting off traffic and threatening the lives of people living at the foot of the slope.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of the Provincial Police mobilized human resources and specialized vehicles to quickly approach the scene, coordinating with local authorities to organize rescue operations throughout the night.

As of early morning on November 20, the landslide area was still strictly sealed off. Authorities remained on duty 24/7, closely monitoring geological developments and ready to respond if new dangers arose.
