On November 20, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province announced a temporary ban on trucks with a load capacity of more than 3.5 tons from traveling through Ta Nung pass.

The temporary road closure location for trucks over 3.5 tons is the section from Km0+00 to Km8+000 on DT.725 route, from 2:00 p.m. on November 20, 2025 to 12:00 a.m. on November 23, 2025.

According to Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Construction Truong Trung Thang, due to the impact of heavy rain lasting for many days, from November 16, 2025 to November 19, 2025, the roads leading to Da Lat were eroded, seriously damaged and closed to traffic (Prenn, Mimosa, D'Ran passes).

According to forecasts, the storm will last until November 23, the risk of landslides will continue to increase. Therefore, the temporary ban on heavy trucks passing through Ta Nung Pass is to ensure traffic safety and limit risks on roads at risk of instability.

Lam Dong Department of Construction recommends that transport units and vehicle drivers proactively choose appropriate routes and strictly comply with regulations to ensure safety.
