Golfers in Vietnam have their own identification code. |
This is not only an identification tool, but also considered a "digital signature" with a strong personal mark, allowing each golfer to express their style, identity and position on the golf course.
Unlike traditional VGA codes that are automatically assigned in system order, vSignature allows players to proactively choose and register an identification code with a flexible structure between letters and numbers (up to 5 characters, of which no more than 4 are numbers).
This opens up a new creative space where each golfer can choose for themselves a unique, easy-to-remember, short but meaningful personal code, from nickname, year of birth, initials to lucky number or brand symbol.
For example, a player can choose the code “HUNG1” to confirm his number 1 position in the club or “G79” to recall his year of birth...
“vSignature is not just a code – it is also a way for golfers to express their style and personal brand on the field. This is also the first step for many personalized products and services that we will introduce in the near future," said a representative of VG Corp.
Golfer Dang Nhu Quynh - General Secretary of Dang Gia Club shared: "Previously, every time I participated in a golf tournament or played a stroke play with friends, I often had to read my VGA code - 889999 - to check the handicap and calculate the handicap points. However, reading this series of numbers sometimes caused my friends to type wrong or miss a number, leading to wasting a lot of time looking it up again".
"When vHandicap allowed players to personalize their VGA code as desired, I found this a very interesting and useful feature. I immediately selected and activated my personal code, QUYNH. Since then, every time I read the VGA code while playing golf, I feel very special because it is a code specifically for me, and cannot be confused with anyone else's," said Dang Gia Club General Secretary.
