The newly established Yen Ninh commune has inherited and promoted the strengths of the four old communes (Yen Ninh, Yen Lac, Yen Thinh and Yen Hung), opening up a new space for development. The new Yen Ninh commune has an area of 24.68 km2, with a population of more than 23,500 people. The commune Party Committee has 39 affiliated party organizations with more than 1,000 party members, including the Ngoc Vuc village Party Cell, the predecessor of the old Yen Dinh district Party Committee. The inheritance of revolutionary traditions and the history of cultural beliefs along with other advantages have been and are creating favorable conditions for Yen Ninh commune to develop in all aspects.

The average annual growth rate of product value in the 2021-2025 period reached 7.07%; the average income per capita in 2025 is estimated at 76.74 million VND/person, 1.5 times higher than in 2021. The total capital mobilized and used for development investment in the area in the 2021-2025 period is estimated at about 1,897 billion VND. Investment in the construction of 197 works from various capital sources. The National Target Program on New Rural Development continues to receive attention. In 5 years, the total resources for the development of advanced rural areas reached 200 billion VND. The commune has 1 village meeting provincial-level new rural standards, 7 villages meeting district-level new rural standards, and 4 3-star OCOP products. Many key projects have been invested and upgraded, including the traditional house where the first Party cell of the old Yen Dinh district was established, to educate the younger generation about patriotism.

The cultural and social fields have many progressive changes, social security is ensured. National defense - security, social order and safety are maintained, creating a favorable environment and conditions for socio-economic development. Party building work is focused on, the relationship between the Party, the government and the people is increasingly close. During the term, the Party Committee of the commune admitted 51 new party members.

In particular, clearly planning the commune's dynamic economic development areas in terms of: industry, services; high-tech agricultural production, large-scale fields; farm and family economy; Residential infrastructure, urban areas... create momentum for comprehensive and sustainable development and link with communes in the region to promote competitive advantages. Develop large-scale, high-tech commodity agriculture associated with the construction of large-scale fields and specialized production areas. In which, focus on converting crop structure, accumulating land, building large-scale fields. Strive to build 2 large-scale fields (from 10 hectares or more) by 2030. Develop concentrated farm and family livestock farming, apply high technology according to the value chain, focusing on developing key livestock products such as: pig and industrial chicken farming. Focus on administrative reform, improve the investment environment, apply science, technology, digital transformation in all fields. Build a healthy cultural and social environment, rich in identity, imbued with affection.

With the motto: Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Creativity - Development, the Party Committee of Yen Ninh commune sets out quite comprehensive goals for the coming term with 11 economic development targets, including the target of an average annual growth rate of total product value in the area of over 10.5%. The average income by 2030 will reach 106.5 million VND or more. The rate of hardened roads in the area by 2030 will reach 100%... In addition, the Party Committee of the commune sets out 9 socio-cultural targets, 3 environmental targets, 1 security and order target and 2 targets on Party building. These targets have been discussed and deliberated upon by the Party Committee of the commune during the process of drafting documents for the first Party Congress of the commune quite thoughtfully and seriously. In particular, many enthusiastic and responsible comments from retired cadres and Party cell committees have been solicited, demonstrating the great determination of the Party Committee to create movement, resilience and new momentum for the locality, determined to strive to become an advanced NTM commune by 2030.
