This afternoon, September 13, a 0-dong truck carrying relief goods from Truong Chi Restaurant and people of Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province departed for the North to support people who suffered heavy losses caused by storm No. 3.
In this relief campaign, Truong Chi Restaurant and local people supported 105 cartons of milk, 500 banh tet loaves, 50 cartons of filtered water, 111 jars of lemongrass shrimp paste, 30 kg of sticky rice and many other essential items with a total value of over 50 million VND.

Ms. Hoang Thi Lan Chi, owner of Truong Chi Restaurant, said: “When we heard that many provinces and cities in the North suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters and responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province and Gio Linh district to support the people of the Northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, my family discussed with Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tan, in Ward 5, Gio Linh town, to plan support.
Chuong My District, Hanoi City was chosen by us to carry out the support activities, because previously, the officials and people of Chuong My District had come to give many gifts, helping Gio Linh people overcome the consequences caused by COVID-19 and natural disasters. This activity received a very positive and timely response from many Gio Linh people.
Hopefully, the small but sentimental gifts from Gio Linh people will help people in Chuong My district overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives and production."
With the spirit of solidarity and sharing of the people, the donation activity to support people in the northern provinces affected by natural disasters in Gio Linh district continues to spread widely.
