The experts identified this as a snake-necked bird, the scientific name is Anhinga melanogaster , a water bird with a very special shape such as a long and thin neck, when swimming the body is submerged in water, only the neck is exposed so it looks like a snake. Therefore, people call it a snake-necked bird.
The bird has a sharp beak used for catching fish, a wide wingspan, and black and brown feathers. When flying, the bird's wings are spread wide and it often perches to sunbathe because its feathers are not as waterproof as other species.
The snake-necked bird is classified in group IB in the list of "endangered, precious, and rare forest animals" according to our country's regulations.
